NEW YORK, NY

He was a man with undisputed military prowess, who ran undefeated from powerful empires such as the Byzantine-Roman Empire and Sassanid-Persian Empire, among others.
He was a man who fought viciously against the Prophet ﷺ and his companions in the Battle of Uhud, only to embrace the revelation of Allah (SWT) afterwards.
He was a man who is said to have fought over 100 battles, and had to be removed from the army by Umar ibn al-Khattab (RA) as he (RA) feared that people may forget that victory was only from Allah (SWT) and not simply in the hands of this man.

He was reigning, he was strategic, he was a master of war, an esteemed sayfullah – a sword of Allah. He was Khalid ibn al-Waleed (RA).

Join John Jay MSA in our last major event of the semester featuring Sheikh Mohammad Elshinawy as he explains the legacy of this famous companion and how iconic he is in the history of our deen.
