6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Willett Hall at United Parish Church
Boston Friends for Refugee Support
Join the grassroots volunteer team at Boston Friends for Refugee Support (BFFRS) as we honor refugees. The SHARE Benefit will bring together people who are committed to supporting refugees through the work of Eyes on Refugees, a local 501(c)3 nonprofit that works both in overseas camps and the Boston area. One highlight of the evening is the debut of a documentary that presents the human side of the refugee crisis by sharing first-hand accounts of two families who were forced to flee their war-torn lands and seek security on our shores.
The SHARE Benefit will feature
- Middle Eastern cuisine
- Entertainment provided by a Middle Eastern vocal ensemble, dancing troupe, DJ, and more
- Silent auction and raffle
- Personalized Arabic calligraphy
- Exclusive documentary screening
All proceeds will benefit Eyes on Refugees. The event venue was generously donated by United Parish Church of Brookline.
