It is one of the best Arabic places near campus, but still not very good. If I cannot get out to Charlie's Mediterranean (formerly a La Shish) just outside Ann Arbor, I would go to Oasis. It is OK, but a far cry from anything in Dearborn. The Chicken shawarma meat is usually lukewarm, and the sandwich is usually under-grilled, and they usually do not have pickeled turnips. The fattouch tastes a bit off. It lacks the strong bittery taste of fattouch at La Shish. The lentil soup, I have to say, is pretty good. Order that on cold days.
