President Barack Obama says Osama bin Laden, the glowering mastermind behind the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks that killed thousands of Americans, was killed in an operation led by the United States.
A small team of Americans carried out the attack and took custody of bin Laden’s remains, the president said Sunday in a dramatic late-night statement at the White House.
A jubilant crowd gathered outside the White House as word spread of bin Laden’s death after a global manhunt that lasted nearly a decade.
“Justice has been done,” the president said.

Violence only begets more violence! Non-violence is the only answer. America, like Israel, is audacious, arrogant and both commit crimes against humanity with impunity. There is no reason, why they could not have trapped him in his compound and arrested him to stand trial, so we can all see what he really did or did not do. They are afraid to put him on a witness stand, as he may have exposed the entire farce that they call "war on terror" So they just murdered him! And we call ourselves a nation of laws! America and Israel are the terrorists and they vilify those who dare to oppose them and accuse them of being the terrorists. They make the victim be responsible for the crime! Wake up America!!!
