National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations

Since 1992, the National Council’s Annual Arab-U.S. Policymakers Conference has gathered internationally renowned specialists to analyze, discuss, and debate issues of overarching importance to the American and Arab people’s needs, concerns, interests, and key foreign policy objectives. Over several days, Arab and American leaders from government, the military, business, academe, and the community of strategic and intelligence analysts share privileged information, insight, knowledge, and understanding. The contributions of these renowned American and Arab foreign affairs practitioners to Arab-U.S. policy-centric analyses and assessments are vitally important to the definition of issues, and the ordering of priorities. They are essential to improving the capabilities for better awareness and appreciation of the most significant trends and indications embedded in the challenges and opportunities confronting Arab and U.S. policymakers, decisionmakers, and their respective populations. As with each of the previous Arab-U.S. Policymakers Conferences, the impact of their recommendations, implicit as well as explicit, will influence the direction of policy formulation and implementation in American and Arab governments alike.

The 31st Arab-U.S. Policymakers Conference will convene in Washington, D.C., November 2-3, 2022, at the Ronald Reagan Building & International Trade Center. Join the National Council to explore dynamics in the Arab region and examine U.S.-Arab relationships at this signature Council educational forum.
