The Cultural Center’s movie series features the latest French and Francophone movies, with English subtitles. All screenings are subtitled in English and open to the public.
Tal, a young woman who has recently moved to Jerusalem, has a hard time understanding the conflict between Israel and Palestine. When she starts looking for answers directly from Palestinians, she receives an answer from Naim, a young man living in Gaza. An unlikely friendship develops as they share their frustrations and the impact of the conflict on their daily lives. The movie is based on the book by Valerie Zenatti, A Bottle in the Gaza Sea, published in French in 2005. Click HERE to view trailer.
