DESCRIPTION:Mahwah\, NJ (In-Person and on Zoom)\nAn introduction to the Egy
 ptian galleries of the Metropolitan Museum of Art that will guide you from
  the banks of the Nile to tombs and temples. Discover Ancient Egyptian cul
 ture and art through sculpture\, jewelry\, mummies\, and actual Egyptian b
 uildings. Norris holds a bachelor's of arts degree in the classics from th
 e University of California at San Diego\, and a master's of arts degree in
  the classics and a doctoral degree in art history from the University of 
 California at Santa Barbara. He spent 20 years at the Met Cloisters museum
  and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York\, and has lectured all ove
 r the world. This program is both in person in the library and live stream
 ing via Zoom. Registration is necessary on mahwahlibrary.org events calend
