DESCRIPTION:Dear AFMI community\,\nIn the upcoming weeks\, we will be showi
 ng films from around the Arab world that tell stories of occupation\, mass
  atrocities\, and the plight of refugees.\nBut also stories about the impo
 rtance of home\, belonging\, connection\, hope\, courage\, and resilience.
 \n\nThis year\, Arab Women in the Arts returns for its 4th edition\, openi
 ng in New York and San Francisco with NEZOUH\, a film by the incredible Sy
 rian filmmaker Soudade Kaadan. We will unveil more of the program in the n
 ext few days\, in the meantime\, you can already buy a ticket to opening n
 ight or a pass.\n\nTHE OLD OAK\, featuring the on-screen debut of Ebla Mar
 i\, and directed by legendary filmmaker Ken Loach\, opens today in New Yor
 k and will show in theaters around the country.\n\nOur friends at the Roxi
