 l is a visual artist and researcher in the fields of Arab and Islamic myth
 ology and paranormal phenomena. He focuses on their relationship to land\,
  natural resources\, and their integration into intangible heritage for th
 e preservation of land and collective memory. In 2015\, he founded The Fic
 tion Council in Jerusalem.\n\nRanda Jarrar is the author of the novel A M
 ap of Home and the collection of stories Him\, Me\, Muhammad Ali. Her wo
 rk has appeared in The New York Times Magazine\, Salon\, Bitch\, BuzzF
 eed\, and elsewhere. She is a recipient of a Creative Capital Award and an
  American Book Award\, as well as awards and fellowships from the Civitell
 a Ranieri Foundation\, the Lannan Foundation\, Hedgebrook\, PEN\, and othe
 rs. A professor of creative writing and a performer\, Jarrar lives in Los
