Our Language Taster workshops introduce students to a language, covering very basic vocabulary and grammar as well as associated cultural aspects, such as history and the arts. Typically, Language Tasters have a duration of between 1 and 2 hours. Teaching will be in English. They are suitable for any students who have an interest in languages and want to know more about how languages work or would like to ‘try out’ a language that they have always wanted to study. Provisional Language Tasters for 2021-2022 are planned for our main languages French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish, as well as languages we do not currently teach, e.g. Arabic, Farsi, Basque and Scottish Gaelic.
