SUMMARY:ARTIST AFTERNOON: INTRO TO MIDDLE EASTERN DANCE
DESCRIPTION:Join instructor and EAG Member Dorít Elena K. for a fun worksh
 op that will introduce students to the basic movements that cover the soci
 al dance and art form of Middle Eastern dance. \n \nThis workshop is appro
 priate for all ages\, genders\, and abilities. The movements range from re
 laxed and flowing to percussive and sharp and they can all be adjusted to 
 preference and ability. By the end of the class\, everyone will have a few
  movements they can use when hearing basic Arabic rhythms. \n \nDorit has 
 taught and performed Middle Eastern Dance and music for 25 years. She has 
 performed at a variety of venues worldwide including Lincoln Center\, Symp
 hony Space\, Teatro Manzoni\, The Ladino Music Festival\, and many more. A
 s a master teacher she has taught all ages and abilities at dance studios\
 , universities\, and cultural centers around the world.\n \nThis class wil
 l take place in-person at Guild Hall. Space is limited. Registration is re
 quired.
