ASAP hosts 3rd Annual Town Hall on April 24

ACCESS – Our Substance Abuse Program’s (ASAP) Community Coalition will host its third annual Community Town Hall on Wednesday, April 24 at 5 p.m. at the Arab American National Museum (AANM) Annex, 13642 Michigan Ave, Dearborn, MI 48126.
Community members are invited to attend this critical forum that is free and open to the public. This crucial and interactive discussion will feature guest speakers and a panel of experts that will help encourage a conversation with community members and leaders on how best to address addiction in communities that often face social disparities.
A Q&A session will follow the opening remarks, giving audience members an opportunity to ask questions and receive feedback from health, educational and law enforcement professionals.
The event will include special remarks from Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (D-Mich.) and the Consul General of Lebanon in Detroit : Her Excellency Mrs. Suzan Mouzi Yassine, both of whom have made it a personal commitment to address substance abuse within our communities.
Other panelists include Dearborn Police Chief Ron Haddad, Medical Director of Meridian Health Services and Community Programs, inc. Dr. Diane Morris, Dearborn Public Schools Special Education Coordinator Dr. Rola Bazzi-Gates and ACCESS Peer Coach Nader Habhab.
