Azoumeh: An Arab Dinner Party

We are recreating our first ever azoumeh! we will present Qidreh, a dish of lamb, chickpeas and spiced rice cooked in a clay pot called a qidreh. Qidreh originates in Southern Palestine, specifically in the cities of Al-Khalil (Hebron) and Gaza. True to traditional azoumeh style, meals will be served family style, and guests are encouraged to serve one another, pass dishes, joke, and converse.
