 ? Join us for Bellydance 101! Learn basic steps including undulations and 
 figure 8's\, plus how to use the arms and hands in this creative and fun c
 lass. No previous dance experience is required and this class will be low 
 impact.\n\nPlease note that the studio is located in a historic building t
 hat requires the use of stairs.\n\nThere is free street parking at the stu
 dio as well as paid lot parking. Please arrive early to secure parking and

 instructor &amp\; entertainer in the Pacific Northwest\, Zaphara is one o
 f the few belly dancers in the US of Greek heritage. She has appeared in n
 ight clubs and taught workshops throughout the Northwest and other US citi
 es. During that time\, she has appeared on local\, Canadian\, Japanese &am
 p\; National TV shows (ABC's 20/20).\n\nZaphara has co-produced\, hosted a
 nd performed in 4 one-hour TV shows on public access\; Belly Dance 101\, M
 y Big fat Greek TV show\, The Cairo Connection and It's Greek to me.\n\nZa
 phara has also traveled to Greece\, Egypt\, Turkey\, Bogotá Columbia\, &a
 mp\; the United Arab Emirates to study\, perform and teach Middle Eastern 
 dance. In Cairo\, Egypt\, she trained with Nagua Fuad\, Egypt's "Queen of 
 Oriental Dance" and with Mahmoud Reda\, choreographer/director of the Reda
  Dance Troupe. In Seattle\, her instructor for 10 years was Shamiriam Pick
 \, International Singer &amp\; Dancer from Iran.\n\nZaphara is choreograph
 er /director of Zaphara's Middle Eastern Dancers\, who are members of the 
 Ethinic Heritage Council of the Pacific Northwest.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
