SUMMARY:Brooklyn Lives! From the River to NYC: Poetry\, Music\, Art & Solid
 arity
DESCRIPTION:littlefield Brooklyn\, NY\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nA community gatheri
ng and fundraiser bringing together live music\, poetry readings\, a panel
  discussion\, and a live auction!\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOverview\nBrooklyn Lives!
is a launch and fundraising gathering celebrating Create Humanity’s Art
for Palestine 3D Digital Exhibit (Palestine Lives!) and Patterns of Ret
urn Poetry Anthology. These projects were co-created by artists and creat
ives from around the world\, who submitted their work in honor of Palestin
e and its people.\n\nThis evening brings together poetry\, music\, visual
art\, and conversation as forms of connection\, care\, and collective expr
ession. Through live readings\, performances\, a projected digital exhibit
\, panel conversation\, and a live auction\, we create space for storytell
ing as both cultural memory and present-day community building.\n\nThe ant
hology will be available for purchase\, alongside opportunities to directl
y support participating artists and initiatives!\n\nFeaturing\n\n Live po
etry readings from anthology contributors\n Musical performances\n Visua
 l art + projected 3D digital exhibit\n Panel on creativity\, community\,
and global solidarity\n Live auction (artworks + special offerings)\n Co
mmunity gathering + shared storytelling space\n\nThis event also serves as
a fundraiser\, with proceeds from ticket sales\, artwork purchases\, and
the anthology directly supporting art therapy and education\, artists in G
aza\, and the continued development of community-centered programming.\n\n
 Artists\, poets\, and speakers to be announced.\n\nContext &amp\; Language
\nThis event uses phrases like “From the River to the Sea” and “From
the River to NYC” to reflect a belief in interconnected struggles for j
ustice and collective liberation.\n\nFor us\, this language is rooted in a
commitment to human dignity\, freedom\, and care for all people. “From
the River to NYC” extends this idea - connecting global movements to loc
al community\, and inviting reflection on how these struggles resonate acr
oss place and practice.\n\nWe recognize that language carries layered mean
ings\, and we approach its use here with intention\, openness\, and a focu
s on shared humanity.\n\nFor deeper context &amp\; sources\, you can explo
