  be partnering with the African Studies Program here at UW-Madison to pres
 ent a children’s book entitled “The Arabic Quilt: An Immigrant Story
 ”. A UW student from Egypt will be reading from the book. We will also i
 ntroduce basic Arabic words\, a display of Egyptian artifacts\, create an 
 art project based on the book\, and sample Egyptian cuisine!\n\nThis is pa
 rt of a series that introduces children to award-winning children’s lite
 rature that celebrates the diversity of art\, culture\, food\, and languag
