Join NYPL librarians from Seward Park, Mulberry Street, and Macomb’s Bridge branch libraries for a virtual chat about Other Word for Home by Jasmine Warga, a beautiful and hopeful story about Jude-a Syrian girl forced to move to America during uncertain unrest. Leaving behind her father and older brother, Jude tries to make sense of a new world, struggling to fit in at school while holding on to her identity.
