 the Maine Middle Eastern Orchestra\, featuring the legendary oud and clari
 net virtuoso\, Mal Barsamian.\n\nMaine Middle Eastern Orchestra and Mal Ba
 rsamian have put together a beautiful program of Armenian music from the c
 lassical and folk traditions. Their repertoire will feature music from the
  legendary composer of Ottoman art music\, Tatyos Ekserciyan\, lively trad
 itional folk dances\, love songs by Udi Hrant\, and the premier of an Alan
  Shavarsh Bardezbanian composition that was recently discovered.\n\nMaine 
 Middle Eastern Orchestra is made up of music faculty members from Bowdoin\
 , Bates\, and Colby Colleges\, the Portland Conservatory of Music\, as wel
 l as musicians from the world renowned New York Arabic Orchestra\, DaPonte
  String Quartet\, Okbari Middle Eastern Ensemble\, Seyir Duo\, and the Cas
 co Bay Tummlers.\n\n\n
