  Farm\n\nInstructor: Tamara Kahhale\n\nCome to Alemany Farm for a full coo
 king workshop! Learn more about the importance (and fun!) of eating season
 ally\, how to harvest seasonal crops\, and work through some basic cooking
  instructions (knife skills\, anyone?). Together\, we’ will cook a few d
 ishes in our outdoor kitchen and enjoy them in lovely early fall. The menu
  will be Lebanese inspired\, vegetarian (vegan options available) and plea
 se bring your own knife and cutting board.\n\nPlease note: kids 15 years o
 r older are welcome\n\nTamara Kahhale (she/her) is a former electrical eng
 ineer turned landworker who was in the climate technology solutions space 
 before realizing that she wanted to approach the climate crisis from an ag
 ricultural and land-based lens. She has developed a deep passion for regen
 erative agriculture and soil health\, as well as food justice and sovereig
 nty\, climate education\, and community-driven practices. As the daughter 
 of Lebanese immigrants\, she has a deep connection to food and believes th
 at everyone has a right to eat culturally relevant food in a way that does
  not harm the planet. She has one and a half years of professional kitchen
  experience -- both in the kitchen and teaching -- and has been a hobby ch
 ef and baker for all her adult life. Tamara has been part of the Alemany F
 arm team for 1.5 years as a regular farm volunteer and workday leader.\n\n
 \n\n\n\n\nSuggested Donation: $55 (includes materials/ ingredients). No on
 e turned away for lack of funds. Our workshops are donation-based and slid
 ing scale to make them accessable to all. Please give at the suggested lev
 el or higher if you are able. All donations support the food production an
 d distribution of free food at Alemany Farm.\n\nAccessibility Information:
  This workshop will be held outdoors on the farm and in the outdoor kitche
 n which is only accessible by stairs at this time. There will be a short l
 ecture / discussion portion\, a farm walk/ harvest and then cooking and ea
 ting. Alemany Farm is not ADA accessible at this time. Pathways are on une
 ven ground. The bathrooms are accessible only by stairway. We apologize fo
