DESCRIPTION:"Conversations around Palestine are often framed either in hist
 orical terms or the present. But what and where are the tools that help us
  think through what a return to Palestine could be?\n\nWe invite you to pl
 ay Countless Palestinian Futures (CPF)\, a game that aims to stimulate the
  imagination by helping people develop tangible outcomes and ideas around 
 Palestinian futures.\n\nQuestions are framed around near\, medium and long
  term futures\, and features six themes including geography\, governance a
 nd policy\, people and society\, culture and media\, infrastructure\, and 
 economy.\n\nThe game is designed to be played with 3-6 players or to be us
 ed as a question that sparks a conversation between two people. It feature
 s questions like:\n\nWhat would the impact to surrounding Arab countries b
 e if the majority of their Palestinian populations left?\nWhat would be do
 ne with the Apartheid Wall?\nWhat form of governance would Palestine have?
 \nWhat strategies could be put in place to address the climate emergency?\
 nWhat urban planning and transportation strategies could be put in place t
 o address private automobile ownership?\nPalestinians and Arabs are invite
 d to play this game. Spaces are limited\, please only book if you are sure
  to come. The session will be facilitated by Dr Danah Abdulla and Sarona A
 buaker. Please note\, the game will be held in English with Spanish transl

 est metro: Universidad Catolica)\n\nAbout the organisers:\n\nDanah Abdulla
  is a Palestinian-Canadian designer\, educator and researcher interested i
 n new narratives and practices in design that push the disciplinary bounda
 ries and definitions of the discipline. She is Programme Director of Graph
 ic Design at Camberwell\, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts (Universi
 ty of the Arts London). Danah is a founding member of the Decolonising Des
 ign platform\, and in 2010\, she founded Kalimat Magazine\, an independent
 \, nonprofit publication about Arab thought and culture. Her first book De
 signerly Ways of Knowing: A Working Inventory of Things a Designer Should 
 Know was published by Onomatopee (2022). www.dabdulla.com\n\nSarona Abuake
 r is a poet\, artist\, and works in Palestinian education. She graduated w
 ith a Masters in Art and Politics from Goldsmiths\, University of London. 
 Her poems have been published in Berfrois\, MAP Magazine\, the 87press’ 
 Digital Poetics series\, KOHL: A Journal for Body &amp\; Gender Research\,
  Ludd Gang\, Senna Hoy and other platforms. Sarona’s debut poetry collec
 tion published by the 87Press (2021)\, Why so few women on the street at n
 ight\, is a queer phenomenology of collective Palestinian futurisms and me
 mory building."
