  GENOCIDE\, ONE YEAR OF RESISTANCE\n\nAs we reach this grim milestone – 
 one year of genocide in Gaza – it is imperative that we support our peop
 le now more than ever. Our people in Palestine are demonstrating their com
 mitment to revolution and steadfastness as they continue to resist against
  the zionist occupation. Just as we are approaching one year of genocide\,
  we are also approaching one year of resistance from the people of Gaza.\n
 \nAs we approach the one year mark of the ongoing genocide in Gaza\, we mu
 st embody the determination and the steadfastness of our people in Gaza. O
 n October 5th\, we are answering the call to fortify and support the Sumud
  of our people\, and to commemorate their resistance against the zionist o
 ccupation.\n\nAs a way of standing with our people in Gaza\, we are hostin
 g a fundraiser for Gaza which will entail an evening of Palestinian cultur
 e and art. All proceeds of the event will be donated to the Middle Eastern
  Children’s Alliance (MECA) and used to aid our people in Palestine.\n\n
 We will have performances by Ramzi Aburedwan &amp\; his Dalouna Ensemble f
 eaturing Ouday Al Khatib. Ramzi Aburedwan is a Palestinian composer from t
 he Amari refugee camp in the West Bank who founded the Dalouna Ensemble\, 
 and Al Kamandjati which is a non-profit organization that provides music c
 lasses to Palestinian children with a focus on youth living in refugee cam
 ps\, the West Bank\, Gaza\, and Lebanon.\n\nStudents can use the promo cod
 e STUDENT4GAZA for a discounted rate.\n\nLet us come together as a communi
 ty and support the Sumud of our people and their resistance from here in t
 he Bay Area.\n\n\n\n\n\n
