SUMMARY:Decolonization of Minds and Nature in Palestine and Globally
DESCRIPTION:Our planet is suffering from human-induced climate change\, ove
 rexploitation\, habitat destruction\, pollution\, wars\, colonialism\, and
  other effects. These cause massive destabilization and suffering that imp
 act all living forms including us humans. Sustainable human and natural co
 mmunities are achievable and dependent on offering nature-based solutions.
  Further\, we note that environmental and climate injustice can be challen
 ged by mobilizing people. Increasingly popular resistance helps address ch
 allenges ranging from climate change to economic inequality to racism/colo
 nialism. Dr. Qumsiyeh will discuss examples of challenges and solutions al
 ong the road to sustainability with a focus on Palestine.
