DESCRIPTION:The Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford\, CT has one of the most ext
 ensive collections of Middle Eastern art in the country. In honor of Arab-
 American Heritage Month\, Hamid Hemat\, Curator of the "Divine Geometry" e
 xhibition at the Wadsworth\, will take us through the museum's fascinating
  anthology of Islamic and Middle Eastern art &amp\; artifacts. He will als
 o delve into the development of calligraphy and written forms in Islamic a
 rt history\, tracing their evolution from the early Islamic period through
  to the present day. Additionally\, he will offer a live demonstration of 
 Persian calligraphy so the audience can see this beautiful ancient art for
 m in practice.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nThis is a hybrid program\; patrons have the o
