DESCRIPTION:\nEkin Öyken is an Associate Professor in the Department of La
 tin Language and Literature at Istanbul University\, where he teaches Lati
 n grammar\, Latin poetry\, and Roman religion. In 2013\, he held a one-yea
 r postdoctoral research position in the Department of Ancient Greek and Ro
 man Studies at the University of California\, Berkeley. His current resear
 ch interests cover a range of topics from ancient musical thought to Latin
  poetry and classical reception. In 2022\, Öyken conducted a research pro
 ject on poetry and Turkish sign language at Istanbul University. He is pre
 paring to publish a Latin grammar written specifically for Turkish speaker
