Self-regulation involves children developing the ability to regulate their emotions, thoughts and behaviour and is an essential part of the early years curriculum.

• What is self-regulation and executive function?

• Self-regulation and the Early Years curriculum

• Co-regulation – modelling and supporting children to self-regulate

• Activities and strategies to support children to manage their emotions, behaviour and self-regulation

Find out about the childhood education sector in the UK and the iCQ Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Learning and Development, which is a ‘Licence to Practice’ and the required qualification to find employment as an early years practitioner in the UK.

TiEGr works globally to raise standards in early years education and delivers training in partnership with EBEA to bring UK continuing professional development training and regulated qualifications to international learners in the early years and education sectors.

Tickets include a Certificate of Attendance, plus a webinar handout of activities to take away and use in your practice. Delivered live in Arabic with presentation slides in both Arabic and English by Dr. Hala Seliet, President of the Egyptian British Education Association. Hala has been teaching in the education and teacher training sector in UK Universities and Colleges for over 30 years and has been working with TiEGr for over 5 years to raise the standards internationally in early childhood education.
