About this Event
FAME and the BEIS Muslim Network are excited to present the next session in our Faith Literacy Series on the topic of Ramadan and how line managers can help support colleagues observing Ramadan, which will take place from Tuesday 13th April to Wednesday 12th May this year (dates are subject to the lunar calendar). This will be an interactive dialogue between Raheem Uddin and Syed Ali of the BEIS Muslim Network.
Come along to find out more about Ramadan in a virtual world, why it’s an important period of fasting and reflection for Muslims, and to hear some top tips on how team members and line managers can support colleagues observing Ramadan this year. We also encourage you to check out the Civil Service Muslim Network Ramadan Guidance which contains a lot of helpful tips for both colleagues observing Ramadan and their line managers.
This event is open to civil servants working in government departments, arms length bodies, agencies and partner organisations. Please register using your work emails.
This event will take place via MS Teams, with a capacity of 300 people. The invite will be sent to registered individuals 1 working day before the event.
