Get excited for our fashion show luncheon!
Learn about Tatreez from Palestinian designers & get free cosmetics from our sponsor!

We are thrilled to feature special guests Wafa Ghnaim, Suzy Tamimi and Darzah at our Women’s Fashion Show & Luncheon! Learn about traditional Palestinian embroidery while watching a glamourous show featuring Suzy’s latest collection while enjoying lunch with your friends. All guests will receive treats and fabulous cosmetic goodies from our sponsor, Lord & Taylor!

A little bit about our guests…

Wafa Ghnaim is an American-born Palestinian businesswoman, writer and artist who began learning Tatreez from her mother as a young girl. Today, she travels the world teaching Palestinian embroidery skills across the diaspora.

Suzy Tamimi is a Palestinian-American fashion designer who became passionate about traditional Palestinian clothing at a young age. Her ‘Freedom Fighter’ collection uses indigenous fabrics and symbolic designs to create a political and humanitarian expression that “pays homage to the past with eyes to the future.” Her designs were featured in Vogue Arabia earlier this year.

Darzah is a non-profit, ethical fashion brand specializing in Palestinian Tatreez embroidery. Each piece is handcrafted in the West Bank. Their mission is to create economic opportunity for refugee and low-income women and to celebrate Tatreez embroidery and Palestinian heritage.

We are thrilled to present these successful Palestinian women and organizations at our convention! Models will be men and women within the community – come support them and register now!
