SUMMARY:Film &amp\; Discussion: Boycott and BDS in the USA
DESCRIPTION:On Sunday September 15\, join the salon\, “Israel\, Palestine
\, BDS\, and Boycotting in the U.S.” at 3:00pm ET. Register at Tinyurl.c
om/VFHL-September2024\; watch the free videos\; then attend the online Q&a
mp\;A discussion. This is a Voices From the Holy Land Online Film Salon. C
o-sponsored by Nonviolence International.\n\nABSTRACT:\n“First they igno
re you\, then they attack you\, then… “ That old saying seems to refle
ct the Palestinian Boycott\, Divestment\, and Sanctions (BDS) movement’s
experience since its inception. But where is this movement today?\nState
and even local governments are singling out Israel as the rationale to tak
e away our freedom of speech—even as many of these laws are invalidated
by courts as unconstitutional. What are the impacts\, status\, and future
of BDS in the US and the world?\nAs the world calls for a ceasefire and an
end to hostilities in Israel-Palestine\, join our Q&amp\;A panel to explo
re the challenges faced by this nonviolent economic movement\, successful
advocacy\, and ways to take on an active role in this movement and environ
 ment. Watch the Trailer: Tinyurl.com/VFHL-SeptemberTrailer.\n\nPARTICIPANT
