In this self-defense class, you will learn:
1- Verbal skills: Using your voice as a self-defense tool for stopping an attack or abuse before it becomes physical.
2- Physical self-defense techniques: Students learn simple effective strikes and techniques to use when other strategies are not an option.
3- Bystander intervention: stepping up and helping someone experiencing any kind of gender or hate based violence.
MALIKAH is a global non-profit organization and grassroots movement that facilitates opportunities for women to come together in sisterhood, to engage in critical reflection and education, to build habits of self-love, and to cultivate action-oriented communities prepared with the tools and skills to clap-back.
