Come out Detroit for a community event showcasing 15 year old @MohammedQreiqae , a self-taught artist visiting from Gaza!
Mohammed is visiting Detroit to share his #FreeBird Campaign, an effort to highlight the lack of educational resources in Gaza for budding yet super talented artists like himself. Through #FreeBird, Mohammed is sharing his talents with the world — and raising funds to support receiving formal art training to continue his passion for visual expression of everyday life!
Join us at The Arab American National Museum (The Annex) to meet this amazing young artist and see some of his work for yourself. Pieces on display will also be available for purchase.
