Zafer Tawil is an accomplished Palestinian musician and a virtuoso on ‘oud, qanun, violin, and Arab percussion. Zafer performs across the US and in the Middle East and holds workshops in oud technique and Arabic music theory. He is continuously exploring the boundaries of Arab music, and classical Indian and Persian music, as well as jazz fusion. Join us as he performs some traditional music on the oud—and music that crosses culture, geography, and identity.

We continue to seek the guidance of medical professionals and authorities and will adapt these Protocols if/when the environment changes.
Please confirm that you have read and agree to the following items:
• Everyone who participates in DOROT’s in-person programs must be fully vaccinated and have at least one booster if the appropriate time has lapsed from the initial vaccination series.
• Program participants are required to provide proof of vaccination. This can be done by completing this form and uploading a photo of your vaccination card. If needed, please contact DOROT staff to assist you at DOROTPrograms@dorotusa.org.
• A mask is mandatory for all in-person programs.
• If you answer “yes” to any of the following three questions on the day of the program you plan to attend, please do not come to DOROT.
