 that people across the Arab-speaking world have shouted repeatedly as they
  fight against tyranny and oppression. Today\, Syrians can finally say Hur
 riyah to describe their reality rather than their hopes. Come celebrate wi
 th us as we celebrate the fall of the Assad regime with Syrian songs rangi
 ng from folklore to contemporary music.\n\nWe will also be celebrating the
  ceasefires in Lebanon and Gaza – in hopes that they will last – and t
 he return of Gazans to their homes after months and months of suffering. T
 he road is long and thorny\, people are still suffering\, and the future i
 s uncertain. Yet in the Levant and beyond\, we always know when to find mo
 ments of joy and how to keep living\, singing\, and dancing even when bull
 ets are falling upon us.\n\nThe performance will be about two hours long a
 nd will feature Basma Edrees (violin)\; Clarissa Bitar (oud)\; Susu (tabla
