DEARBORN, MICHIGAN
Dear Friends of Center for Arab American Studies

I wish you a Happy New Year!  At Center for Arab American Studies we have many exciting events planned for 2020.

The Halal Metropolis exhibition will open in Dearborn next Friday, January 17 from 5-7 p.m. at the Stamelos Gallery in the Mardigian Library on campus.
This 4th iteration of the project will focus on Dearborn itself, so if you are curious about how and why Dearborn became such a vibrant Arab and Muslim community and the challenges faced along the way, this is your chance to explore this history and its many manifestations in the present. Our focus on food, holidays, clothing, and politics has something for everyone, and we are excited to have so many exceptional speakers joins us for our series of gallery talks throughout the semester.
Please get these important dates in your calendar and follow us on Facebook and Instagram for details about each event.
