 nd raised in NYC. Having lost her mother at 9 years old\, Hanan dives into
  her childhood and reflects on how the passing of her mother affected her 
 attitude growing up towards love\, social relationships\, and Islam. This 
 one-woman show playfully explores Hanan's vast array of battles with relig
 ion\, grade school bullies\, and unsuccessful relationships. Halal Habibis
  is a vulnerable and hilarious show that highlights the true meaning of re
 siliency\, hope\, and delusions in the manifestations of a Lebanese woman.

 aised\, and based in NYC. She has been featured in the Arab American Comed
 y Festival\, the Edinburgh International Fringe Festival\, and Time Out Ne
 w York. She opens for renowned comedians such as Sammy Obeid and John Achk
 ar all across the US.\nIn 2023\, Hanan debuted her first solo show\, Halal
  Habibis\, which was featured the following year at the Edinburgh Internat
 ional Fringe Festival with a highly acclaimed full-month run. She has also
  taken her solo show across multiple North American cities.\n\n\n
