LOUIS\, MO\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us Tuesday\, July 16th for an evening immersed in Palestinian culture to help us raise funds for those s truggling in Gaza. Together\, we will celebrate the basis on which Palesti nian existence and resilience are built.\n\nThe full cost of your ticket s ale will go directly to people in Gaza who are struggling to survive. To h ave a meaningful impact\, we are focusing our efforts on three specific fa milies - see their stories below:\n\n1) Horieh is my cousin whom we have b een raising funds for for the last few months. With a combination of her r esilience and the support of friends and family\, she was able to flee the war and is currently in Egypt. However\, her husband was sadly left behin d and is facing horrific conditions as food has become extremely scarce an d expensive. Our funding for her will allow her to continue to support her self alone in Egypt and save with the hope of evacuation for her husband.\ n\n2) Meet Amal and her two beautiful children. Amal’s son has Autism Sp ectrum Disorder. They have moved over eight times during this war and life has become extremely difficult\, especially for her son who has many ever yday challenges. Funds will support them directly for food and daily neces sities.\n\n3) Haifa is a 20-year-old graphic designer from Gaza whose fami ly has lost their home\, pets\, and many of their possessions due to the o ngoing genocide. Haifa (20)\, her mother Nadia (43)\, her father Bassam (4 5)\, &\; her brothers\, Nashat (23) &\; Nader (16)\, are currently i n Rafah without funds or resources to keep them fed safe. They are all ter rified and need our collective help to stay safe &\; hopefully evacuate to Egypt (which costs $5\,000 to $7\,000 per person at the border).While this is a deeply somber time\, we hope this event will be a fun and educat ional evening celebrating the culture of Palestine.\n\nEnjoy getting a hen na tattoo\, delicious Palestinian food\, a cocktail or a mint lemonade. Th ere will be a small dance performance with traditional dresses\, stories\, and poetry.\n\nThere will also be a few raffles for some incredible art p ieces!\n\nEvening details:\n\nDoors open the doors at 5pm.\n\nHouse inform ation:\n\nThe tables will entitle you to full table service\, authentic Pa lestinian dinner and one drink.\n\nGA dinner entitiles you to a drink and meal. GA no dinner will entitile you to a drink.\n\nGA seats will be able sit at the bar\, high tops or the firepits with service at the bar.\n\nSea ting for clear weather:\n\nIn clear weather you will be entitled to a tabl e all night starting at 5. If it does rain please read below for seating t imes:\n\nIn case of rain\n\nIf it does rain we will need to turn the indoo r seats to accomodate everyone.\n\nRead below for rain schedule for seatin g:\n\n all purchased snug booth seatings will begin at 5 and can be sat u ntil 7:15.\n all 4 seat outdoor tables will be sat at 7:30\n two of the 6 seat outdoor tables will be set for 5pm seatings and can be sat until 7: 15\n two of the 6 seat outdoor tables will be set for a 7:30\n GA dinner can come in at anytime\, but with seating at the bar only\n GA no dinner can come after 8:30 if there is rain\n we may be able to accomodate an e arlier or later seating if it rains\, please email us the night before if its looking likely\n\nIf there is no rain\, you are welcome to arrive when ever is convenient.
