 ts by registering for this free virtual workshop for grades 3-5.\n\nIn thi
 s session of the Hidden Voices of New York City series\, students will lea
 rn about Arab American New Yorkers whose stories have too often been “hi
 dden” from the traditional historical record\, but whose lives and legac
 ies continue to shape our collective history and identity in the city. Thi
 s program is inspired by the profiles in the Hidden Voices resource guides
 \, which are aligned to the New York City Department of Education’s Pass
 port to Social Studies.\n\nThis 1-hour workshop includes an active chat fo
 r class participation and student activities to do during the program\, in
 cluding a close\n\nexamination of images from the Museum’s collection an
 d exhibitions.\n\nStudents who participate in the session will:\n\nWho is 
 this for?\n\nThis webinar is geared toward students in grades 3-5. Individ
 uals or classes are invited to register.\n\nAbout the session format:\n\nO
 ur virtual student workshops are live and interactive sessions led over Zo
 om by Museum Educators in a setting that balances active engagement and pr
 ivacy. Sessions will be presented as webinars\; students will be able to s
 ubmit questions\, comments\, and observations to the moderators and comple
 te polls and other activities but will not use cameras or mics and will no
 t be visible on screen.\n\nHow to Register:\n\nThese sessions are free! Ad
 vance registration is required. Educators who register for their class wil
 l receive a Zoom link prior to the program.\n\nUse the link to register fo
