Our discussion will include local SWANA community members as we engage in conversation about the in between spaces of belonging as Arab Americans here on the Central Coast. As immigrants and first generation residents Arab Americans are continually navigating the waters of adapting to new communities, sustaining cultural practices, honoring heritage and creating new ‘American’ traditions having roots in multiple places. Discussion moderated by Dr. Farah Al-Nakib and Dr. Gualtieri.
