 BBCC) are running a new series: an international book and film club where 
 we globetrot via\, yes\, books and movies. &#x1f3ac\;&#x1f37f\;\n\nFor our
  inaugural event\, we're looking at Palestine. We will be reading Minor De
 tail by Adania Shibli and watching Salt of This Sea. Seating will be limit

 m\n\nAbout BBCC: just a couple of cinephiles + bibliophiles who don't want
  to be isolationist regarding the media they consume.\n\nAbout the speaker
 : Yaqeen Yamani is a media studies graduate of Al Quds Bard College who is
  pursuing an MFA in photography at Tyler School of Art and Architecture an
 d co-founder of Jericho Cinema Club.\n\nYamani will be interviewed by Cole
  Seidl\, an Assistant Professor of Cinema and Screen Studies at Monroe Com
 munity College and former professor at Al-Quds Bard College in Abu Dis\, P
