 izami. Arslen Metoui will warm the stage with a set of Arabic jazz fusion 
 performed on the kanun\, a rare North African stringed instrument\, with M
 ashal Awais accompanying on the bansouri (Indian bamboo flute) and Hessam 
 Dianpour on the saz (Turkish stringed instrument) and on the daf (Persian

 08 Ustad Nizami came to the United States as a Fulbright Scholar to teach 
 music at the University of Texas and in 2009\, understanding that instruct
 ion is the key to protecting an ancient musical tradition that is being lo
 st\, Ustad Nizami founded the Nizami School of Music in Austin\, Texas in 
 2009. be presenting their unique style of Sufi qawwali music accompanied b
