Nada Kadhim is an IT Operations Specialist at Innovapost. She has more than 15 years of experience in IT Project Management and extensive knowledge of website implementation, database management, system administration and IT infrastructure. She has an exceptional track record in providing strategic leadership for managing high-end portfolios of projects. Nada has international experience and has worked with global professional teams situated in UAE, Austria, UK, USA, KSA, Kuwait, and Oman. In addition to her role at Innovapost, Nada is also a Web Specialist at ANCWT and is responsible for managing ANCWT’s online presence and for coordinating the data and information management system at ANCWT.
Nada obtained her Computer System Engineering degree from Carleton University, and is ITIL Certified. She holds a Master of Engineering Management from the University of Ottawa.
Fedaa Khirallah BSc. Ag Eng. is an Agricultural Engineer with over 12 years of progressive experience in designing environments, plant protection, food safety, and managing resources. She is a member of OIA (Ontario Institute of Agrologists). Fedaa obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Albaath in Syria. She has worked in the Agriculture Directorate and Agrarian Reform in Syria, as a Biological Control Specialist, provided expertise and advice on pest control and plant protection. In 2016 Fedaa joined the ANCWT (Advancing New Canadian Women in Technology) program and represented ANCWT through PEC (Prince Edward County) project by being a member of the Climate Smart Village curriculum development team. She is currently working in Inventory Control at Canadian Force Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) which adds an experience in data entry and Government procedure.
Nada and Fedaa will share their job searching experiences in Canada as internationally trained engineering professionals. Dr.Sawsan Abdul-Majid, P.Eng, president of Advancing New Canadian Women in Technology (ANCWT) will join Nada and Fedaa in answering questions during the interactive component of the event.
