Along the way\, he managed to find time to raise a family \, become a dentist and learn to call Michigan his home.\n\nThis book is b oth a deeply personal and refreshingly honest portrayal of one man’s lif e\, his successes and his failures\, and a portrait of America and the Mid dle East over the past one hundred years.\n\nDr. John Farah founded Farah and Associates (presently Enspire Dental) in 1980 to provide personal and exceptional dentistry. In 1984 Dr. Farah launched The Dental Advisor\, a p ublication that guided dentists in the use of the latest products and mate rials at their dental practices. He was an early practitioner of Cosmetic Dentistry and lectured about it worldwide for over 25 years. In 2006\, Dr. Farah formed Apex Milling &\; Printing\, an industry leader in CAD/CAM and digital dentistry. Outside of dentistry\, John's interests span a bro ad range\, from photography\, writing\, and gardening to snowboarding and fitness. He has completed 137 marathons and over 400 road races in a 40-ye ar running career. More years ago than he’d care to admit\, Dr. Farah e arned his D.D.S. and a joint Ph.D. in Aerospace and Biomaterials Engineeri ng from the University of Michigan.
