Hi all !

After a little break we are happy to offer online MENAHT dances monthly intensives in english. As always we try to support social actions in our countries of origin so part of the profits will be sent to associations in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Lebanon.

OUR PROGRAM

Each month one or two countries will be studied with :

• 3h package including an introduction lecture about the dances history and 2 or 3 dance classes.

• and the same day 2h cultural conference with different topics each month.

• all online through ZOOM

• you can book only the 3h package, only the 2h cultural conference or both of them

Saturday 6th of March : 4pm-7pm

• 2 dance classes : Algiers city dance / Raï

Cultural conference 8:30pm-10:30pm : with special guest

• “Ouchem or Amazigh Tribal Marks from Algeria and Morocco” by Amel Tafsout and Raïssa Leï

APRIL : LEBANON & TURKEY

Saturday 3th of April : 4pm -7pm

• Lecture : Lebanese Dabke and Roman Havasi (Turkey) dances
• 2 dance classes : Lebanese Dabke / Roman Havasi dances

Cultural conference 8:30pm-10:30pm :

• “The Ottomans, the Arabs, the Imazighen : what link?”

MAY : MOROCCO

Sunday 16th of May : 4pm -7pm

• Lecture : Moroccan dances
• 3 dance classes : Sahraoui / Reggada / Ahwach

Cultural conference 8:30pm-10:30pm :

• “Moroccan outfits and jewelry.”

JUNE : TUNISIA & LYBIA

Sunday 6th of June : 4pm -7pm

• Lecture : Tunisian and Lybian dances
• 2 dance classes : Fazzani (Tunisia) / Lybian dances

Cultural conference 8:30pm-10:30pm :

• “Poetry among Amazigh women”
