DESCRIPTION:CHICAGO\, IL\n\n\n\nJoin our community fundraiser for Lebanon! 
 All proceeds will be tripled and sent to UNICEF for displaced children and
  families.\n\n\n\n\n\nLove for Lebanon\nChildren and families in Lebanon a
 re facing urgent humanitarian needs as continued hostilities\, displacemen
 t\, and damage to essential infrastructure disrupt access to safety\, heal
 th care\, education\, clean water\, sanitation\, and protection services. 
 Since the escalation of the conflict\, more than 1.1 million people have b
 een displaced\, including an estimated 390\,000 children. UNICEF’s respo
 nse is focused on reaching displaced children and families in shelters\, h
 ost communities\, and hard-to-reach or conflict-affected areas with urgent
 \, integrated support.\n\nUNICEF is working with the Government of Lebanon
  and local partners to deliver lifesaving and life-sustaining assistance\,
  including safe water and sanitation\, health and nutrition services\, psy
 chosocial support\, child protection\, education\, emergency supplies\, an
 d support for families who have been displaced. UNICEF is also helping mai
 ntain critical systems\, from water pumping stations to primary health car
 e services\, so children and families can continue accessing essential sup
 port during the crisis.\n\nFunds raised through Love for Lebanon will supp
 ort UNICEF’s emergency response for children and families affected by th
 e crisis in Lebanon. Flexible support is especially important because it a
 llows UNICEF to respond quickly as needs evolve and direct resources where
  they are needed most.\n\nJoin us for an unforgettable afternoon of Lebane
 se culture\, music\, and community in support of those displaced by the on
 going war in Lebanon. The night will feature live music\, comedy by Zaid F
 ouzi\, bites by Suda's restaurant\, live painting\, and local vendors cele
 brating the richness of Lebanese heritage all while raising funds for an a
 mazing cause.\n\n\n
