DESCRIPTION:The "Magic and Healing in Palestine" workshop introduces the hi
 story and meaning of Palestinian amulets\, guided by the writings of Tawfi
 q Canaan. Participants will explore the medicinal\, protective\, and spiri
 tual qualities embedded in traditional objects and materials across Palest
 inian history. The session then shifts into a hands-on experience\, where 
 attendees learn foundational tatreez embroidery techniques. Using ingredie
 nts such as bay leaves\, alum\, miswak\, and aromatic spices\, participant
 s will craft their own hanging Palestinian amulet. By the end of the works
 hop\, each person will leave with a deeper understanding of cultural symbo
 lism and a handmade object rooted in ancestral practice.\n\n\n\nThis event
