 in Oakland\, California. Featuring:\nMazin Jamal: multi-cultural\, multi-i
 nstrumentalist composer\, and songwriter.\n&amp\; special guest\nSalma Al 
 Assal: legendary traditional sudanese singer-songwriter\nMazin takes Afric
 an\, Arabic\, Latin\, and other world influences and infuses them with mod
 ern afrobeats and R&amp\;B. His live performances are very interactive\, b
 ringing in some ceremonial and workshop elements. Deep breaths\, guided mo
 vement\, sing-alongs\, dancing\, playing a shaker\, its all on the table!\
 n\nSalma Al Assal is a world renowned traditional Sudanese singer\, known 
 especially for her mastery of Sudanese Women's Music and her striking voca
 ls. Salma will be accompanied by Mazin on the traditional Sudanese Bunguz 
 (percussion) and back-up vocalists.\n\nThis intimate backyard show will al
