 --------\nBasma Edrees is an Egyptian violinist\, performer\, and educator
 . Passionate about introducing the world to the rich music of her upbringi
 ng\, Edrees has given Arabic music workshops at UC Berkeley\, Stanford and
  Labyrinth Online. She has taught Arabic music and European counterpoint a
 t the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and is currently on the violin f
 aculty of Santa Clara University. Basma Edrees earned her Bachelors and Ma
 sters degrees in violin performance from Mannes School of Music and The Ju
 illiard Schools in New York. She enjoys a rich career as a western classic
 al violinist\, Argentine Tango violinist and Arabic violin player.\n\nSirv
 an Manhoobi started his musical journey at age 13 studying tar/sehtar with
  Keivan Saket and Behrooz Hemati. He chose oud as his primary instrument a
 nd attended classes with Arsalan Kamkar. He studied with Mohammad Reza Lot
 fi (Radif Navazi-Iranian classical music repertoire)\, Mehran Rohani (prin
 ciples and history of music)\, Siamak Jahangiri (improvisation and analysi
 s of Radif Navazi). He received Best Soloist awards at Iranian music festi
 vals and formed the Bamdad Music Ensemble\, focusing on Kurdish and Irania
 n classical music. He has a master’s of archaeology from Tehran Universi
 ty and currently lives in Oakland\, performing\, composing\, and teaching 
 Iranian and Kurdish music.\n\nReda Darwish\, a native of Cairo\, has been 
 playing various percussion instruments since childhood. At eight years old
 \, he was featured weekly on Egyptian television. Soon after he was playin
 g for Egypt’s most famous dancers and singers including Fayza Ahmed\, Na
 gat Al Saghira\, and Samira Said. He later toured with Hani Mahanna’s or
 chestra\, including to the United States where Darwish has now made his ne
 w home. He has also recorded his own compositions and was commissioned to 
 compose the soundtrack for Reader’s Digest’s Wonders Sacred and Myster

 I arrive?Doors open 30 minutes before the scheduled performance time. For 
 example\, if the show is scheduled to start at 7:30pm\, the doors will ope
 n at 7:00pm. If the show is scheduled to start at 8:00pm\, the doors will 
 open at 7:30pm\, and so on.\nTICKETING &amp\; ADMISSION\nIf an event is so
 ld out online\, could I still purchase tickets? No\nDoes purchasing an adv
 ance ticket guarantee seating? Purchasing an advance ticket guarantees adm
 ission\, but does not guarantee seats. Seating is first come\, first serve
