COVID-19 WON’T STOP US FROM LEARNING AND DANCING! This Labor Day weekend is Raqs Without Borders 2020: our fifth anniversary-dance show, lectures and dance workshops with native instructors from all over MENA-Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco and of course, Egypt. We are pleased to announce our inspiring dance instructors, sharing their expertise on Middle Eastern and North African Folklore:

Amel Tafsout (Algeria/U.S.A.)
Nashwa Cahill (Egypt/U.S.A.)
Torkom Movsesiyan (Bulgaria/U.S.A.)
Dance topics: Egyptian Eskendarani style melaya , haggala, Raqs Sharqi, Bedouin Tunisian, Moroccan Shikhat, Algerian Kabyle, and Algerian Chaoui ‘Abdaoui. Each dance workshop is followed by a cultural lecture. Dance show with a Grammy-nominated musician, Samir LanGus and his live band from Morocco.
