Manakeesh with Za’tar and Feta—flatbreads with zesty za’atar spice and fruity olive oil 

Oum Ali—Egyptian bread pudding with puff pastry, almonds, coconut and sultanas 

Sahlab—Turkish rose-scented “latte” with coconut, cinnamon, and pistachios
