Join Adrian Freedman, Adnan Agha, Adriano Machado, Tao Txana for an online talk and live performance exploring the theme of Middle Eastern music, sufism and the journey to freedom.
Kindred Souls Sunday Sessions from 4pm GMT is a series of online events led by Adrian Freedman celebrating music as the universal language of the heart, transcending time and space and cultural boundaries.
We welcome you to sit with us around the virtual fire (via Zoom & FB Live) as we enjoy stories and song together.
Sign up here to join us each Sunday. Receive updates as well as information from BrightSky and Kindred Souls.
We are delighted to introduce the guest musicians for this Sunday Session:
Adnan Agha is a Syrian musician who plays the buzuq, living in the UK as a refugee.
Adriano Machado is a Brazilian musician who has never left Brazil but has become a specialist in North African and Middle-Eastern percussion.
Tao Txana is originally from Turkey and is a singer, artist and medicine man with strong roots in Sufi traditions.
At BrightSky we believe in the power of community. We provide the tools to connect, to share, to grow, to collaborate, to support…to collectively plant the seeds for a brighter future…for the generations to come. Be part of the change.
