 us on Saturday afternoon\, April 12th\, as we feature renowned vocalist an
 d composer\, Muaz Edriss\, and his Arab Music Ensemble\, offering an immer
 sive journey into the rich world of Arab music.\n\nExplore classical\, fol
 k\, and pop traditions while discovering traditional instruments like the 
 oud\, violin\, kanun\, and tabla. Experience tarab\, the deep emotional ec
 stasy at the heart of Arab music.\n\nEdriss will introduce you to vocal st
 yles such as mawal\, qasida\, layali\, ataaba\, and muwashah\, along with 
 classical music forms such as the samai\, ashraf\, and muwashah. He will a
 lso touch on contemporary Arab music\, bridging the past and present to ce
 lebrate Arab musical heritage.\n\nMuath Edriss is a renowned Arab vocalist
 \, composer\, and music lecturer. Winner of Best Voice in 2000\, he made h
 istory as the first to compose\, translate\, and perform the U.S. National
  Anthem in Arabic. In 2023\, he became the first Arab American to sing in 
 Arabic on the oud at the White House. A visiting lecturer at Indiana Unive
 rsity and Bloomsburg College\, he proudly serves as an Ambassador for the
